I will be speaking in SharePoint Saturday India on Upgrading SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010, May 8th  12 pm – 1 pm IST (GMT+5.30) around 2.30 PM to 3:30 PM Riyadh time.  In this session I will cover how to prepare for upgrading from previous versions of SharePoint to SharePoint 2010.  What are the methods and Paths available to upgrade.  It will also cover the things that you need to know, prepare, plan and execute to upgrade your SharePoint 2007 portals to SharePoint 2010. 

Another great thing to know is that they will be using GoToWebinar which means no more audio disconnections while you are in Saudi Arabia or Gulf Region.  Everybody can attend great sessions.

There are no parallel session instead they have broken it into two days.

Jerry and Hani will describe SharePoint tools in Visual Studio 2010 and what features that will help developers in creating solutions for Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. They will cover the features like Developing SharePoint solutions, the project type and templates and project item templates, Design association and initiation forms for sequential and state workflows, Create Web parts and application pages for a SharePoint site, Browse SharePoint sites by using the Server Explorer, and how we can debug SharePoint applications by pressing F5.
